Hotel Patria - Pecs

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and even offered me a free upgrade to a superior room. The housekeeping was excellent, and they always responded instantly to any calls I made. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was only a 5-minute walk from the main town square. It was also conveniently close to a bus stop and nestled in the beautiful Mecsek hills. I couldn't ask for a better location in this city.

Couldn't find any faults at all. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

Convenient to station and city centre for sightseeing. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

It is a perfect place for one night. Breakfast was superb with a great selection different food. I got free upgrade and loved it. I was able to park my car onsite;))

A little dated room.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, making it convenient for exploring the charming streets of Pecs. Additionally, it is close to a bus stop, providing easy access to other attractions in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and had all the basic amenities we needed, including air conditioning, which was a relief during the summer heat. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different tastes.

Reseptionist was really good, helpfull and I have never felt myself so wellcome as in this hotel Patria.

Good hotel, it is a little bit old, but the staff, service and breakfast is good, and most importantly, it is clean. We also liked that animals was allowed for a small fee.

The hotel was perfectly located for exploring the city, with all tourist attractions within walking distance. the breakfast included a wide variety of foods, catering to different tastes, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the free parking was an added bonus, making it easy to explore the city by car.

The room was a bit dated and could use some updating - especially the air-conditioning. We found the room to be quite hot and stuffy, and the fact that the free wifi was only available in the lobby was a bit of a disappointment.

Small rooms. Little space for luggage. Restaurant was not available for evening meals. We were not informed of facilities in bar / snack room and only found out by accident. English translation of snack food available was very poor and misleading.

They gave me a chance to look inside of the room before deciding check in.

On checking-in I asked for an upgrade. I was quoted a price a verbally but on checking-out the rate was almost double. I objected but ended up having to pay considerably more than quoted.The receptionist said it was a misunderstanding but i am clear there was no error on my part.

The room was fine, however it was very, very hot. no air conditioning in this room makes it impossible in hot weather.

The hotel lies at the heart of this historic city. Everything is within a walking distance. Staff are extremely friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Room prices are cheaper at lower floors which are suitable for a tighter budget. Breakfast is included and caters for different tastes. Very highly recommended. Hungarian people are warm, generous and hospitable. This hotel gives this feeling of being among family and friends.
